Dr. Witiak

Gene Witiak, VMD   –   Retired

Dr. Witiak practiced veterinary medicine in the Lehigh Valley for over 50 years!  He is thrilled to have been part of creating the caring team at HanoverView Animal Hospital.  Connecting with people and their pets is something he cherishes; it is the reason he keeps practicing! Our hospital motto, “We Care”, certainly applies to him. Dr. Witiak lives with his wife, Joan, and their cat.  He has two married daughters and four granddaughters.  In his spare time, he loves playing golf, gardening, and working out at the Community Center. Dr. Witiak was appointed to the Pennsylvania State Board of Veterinary Medicine and served for eight years. He has written two books on his experiences with his patients, in and out of the exam room, and published several articles in veterinary journals.  He will still occasionally stop in the office to say hello and check in on everyone.
